Ambrosia Salad – A Classic Creamy Fruit Salad Delight

Ingredients

• 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
• 1 can (8 oz) pineapple tidbits, drained
• 1 large banana, sliced
• ½ cup seedless red grapes, halved
• ½ cup miniature marshmallows
• ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut
• ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
• ¼ cup mayonnaise or vegan mayo (optional, for extra richness)
• 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine mandarin oranges, pineapple, banana, and grapes.
  2. Gently fold in marshmallows and coconut.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk sour cream, mayonnaise (if using), honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour dressing over fruit mixture and toss gently to coat.
  5. Chill at least 1 hour before serving to let flavors meld.
  6. Serve cold as a side dish or dessert!
