Ingredients
• 1 box butter pecan cake mix • 1 cup butter pecan pudding mix • 4 eggs • ½ cup vegetable oil • ½ cup water
FOR PRALINE TOPPING: • ½ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup butter • 2 tbsp heavy cream • ½ cup chopped pecans • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
- Mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, and water
- Pour into prepared pan
- Bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes clean
- Poke holes all over hot cake with fork
- For topping: heat brown sugar, butter, and cream
- Boil 2 minutes, remove from heat
- Stir in pecans and vanilla
- Pour over hot cake
- Let cool completely
- Serve chilled or at room temperature
