• 2 cups large red or green seedless grapes, stemmed & dried well
• 1 cup Jolly Ranchers (or similar hard candy), crushed (e.g., cherry + green apple for color & tang)
• 1½ tbsp light corn syrup (or honey/maple syrup for natural option)
• 1 tsp water
• Optional: ¼ tsp citric acid (for extra tang!) or edible glitter for sparkle
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or silicone mat. Insert toothpicks or small skewers into each grape (¾ of the way); place on sheet.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine crushed candy, corn syrup, water, and citric acid (if using).
- Microwave in 30-sec bursts, stirring between, until fully melted and smooth (~1.5–2 mins total). ⚠️ Very hot—handle with care!
- Working quickly (before candy hardens), dip each grape into warm candy coating, rotating to cover. Let excess drip off.
- Return to sheet. Optional: sprinkle with extra crushed candy or glitter before it sets.
- Chill 10–15 mins until coating is crisp and glossy. Enjoy immediately—or store chilled up to 24 hrs (best fresh!).
