Ingredients
• 2¼ cups all-purpose flour • 1 tsp baking soda • 1 tsp cinnamon • ½ tsp nutmeg • ¼ tsp salt • 1 cup butter, softened • ¾ cup brown sugar • ½ cup granulated sugar • 2 eggs • ¼ cup apple cider • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 cup rolled oats • ½ cup caramel bits
FOR CARAMEL GLAZE: • ½ cup caramel sauce • 1 tbsp milk • ¼ cup chopped apples for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt
- Cream butter and both sugars until fluffy
- Add eggs, apple cider, and vanilla, beat well
- Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients
- Fold in rolled oats and caramel bits
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets
- Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden
- Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes
- Transfer to wire racks to cool completely
- Mix caramel sauce and milk for glaze
- Drizzle over cooled cookies
- Sprinkle with chopped apples
