Ingredients
• 6 cups apples, peeled and sliced • ¼ cup lemon juice • ½ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup granulated sugar • 1 tsp cinnamon • ¼ tsp nutmeg • 2 tbsp flour • ½ cup caramel sauce
FOR CRISP TOPPING: • 1 cup old-fashioned oats • ½ cup all-purpose flour • ½ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup butter, cold and cubed • ½ cup chopped pecans • 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease 8×8 inch baking dish
- Toss apple slices with lemon juice
- Mix both sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour
- Toss apples with sugar mixture
- Pour apples into baking dish
- Drizzle with caramel sauce
- Mix topping ingredients with fork until crumbly
- Sprinkle evenly over apples
- Bake 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly
- Cool 10 minutes before serving
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
