Ingredients

• 6 cups apples, peeled and sliced • ¼ cup lemon juice • ½ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup granulated sugar • 1 tsp cinnamon • ¼ tsp nutmeg • 2 tbsp flour • ½ cup caramel sauce

FOR CRISP TOPPING: • 1 cup old-fashioned oats • ½ cup all-purpose flour • ½ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup butter, cold and cubed • ½ cup chopped pecans • 1 tsp cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease 8×8 inch baking dish
  3. Toss apple slices with lemon juice
  4. Mix both sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour
  5. Toss apples with sugar mixture
  6. Pour apples into baking dish
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce
  8. Mix topping ingredients with fork until crumbly
  9. Sprinkle evenly over apples
  10. Bake 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly
  11. Cool 10 minutes before serving
  12. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
