Caramel Apple Jam: Sweet, Buttery, and Packed with Cozy Fall Flavor

Ingredients

• 4 lbs apples, peeled and chopped • 2 cups granulated sugar • 1 cup brown sugar • ½ cup caramel sauce • 2 tbsp lemon juice • 1 tsp cinnamon • ½ tsp nutmeg • ¼ tsp cloves • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 packet (1.75oz) powdered pectin


Instructions

  1. Combine apples, sugars, and caramel sauce in large pot
  2. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
  3. Bring mixture to boil over medium-high heat
  4. Stir in pectin and return to boil
  5. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla
  7. Skim foam from surface
  8. Ladle into hot sterilized jars
  9. Process in water bath for 10 minutes
  10. Cool and store in refrigerator
  11. Keeps for up to 3 weeks
