Ingredients
• 1 box yellow cake mix • 1 cup pumpkin puree • 4 eggs • ½ cup vegetable oil • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice • 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 cup whipped cream (optional) • ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
- Mix cake mix, pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, and pumpkin pie spice
- Pour into prepared pan
- Bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes clean
- Poke holes all over hot cake with fork
- Mix condensed milk, ½ cup caramel sauce, and vanilla
- Pour over hot cake, let absorb
- Cool completely
- Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top
- Serve with whipped cream and pecans if desired
