Sweet cherries, tangy pineapple, and a buttery golden crust — this easy dump cake is a fruity, flavor-packed dessert that’s perfect for any season!
Ingredients
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice (do NOT drain)
1 (5.75 oz) box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, stir together cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple (juice included). Pour into an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the top. It will look dry — don’t worry!
Dot the top with cubes of cold butter. If using, sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
Bake for 45–50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
Let cool slightly before serving warm.
