1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup packed brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1½ tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp salt

3 cups old-fashioned oats

1 cup raisins


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until combined.

Stir in oats and raisins until evenly distributed.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto the baking sheet.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers look just set.

Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
