Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • • 3/4 cup granulated sugar 🍚
  • • 2 large eggs 🥚🥚
  • • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍨
  • • 1/4 cup sour cream 🥄
  • • 2 tablespoons melted butter 🧈
  • • 1 cup powdered sugar ❄️
  • • 2 tablespoons milk 🥛

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan and set it aside.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, softened butter, milk, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until a soft dough forms.
  3. 3. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 12 by 8 inches.
  4. 4. Mix the brown sugar with cinnamon and evenly sprinkle this mixture over the rolled dough.
  5. 5. Roll the dough tightly into a log shape lengthwise, then slice into 1/2-inch thick rolls.
  6. 6. Arrange the sliced cinnamon rolls evenly at the bottom of the prepared springform pan, gently pressing them to form the base.
  7. 7. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  8. 8. Add the eggs one at a time to the cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition.
  9. 9. Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream until fully incorporated.
  10. 10. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cinnamon roll base in the pan.
  11. 11. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the cinnamon swirl.
  12. 12. Drizzle this cinnamon swirl mixture over the cheesecake batter, then use a knife to gently swirl it throughout the filling.
  13. 13. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the center is set and no longer jiggly.
  14. 14. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  15. 15. To prepare the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  16. 16. Drizzle the glaze over the chilled cheesecake just before serving.
