Ingredients

• 8 slices Texas toast or thick bread • 4 oz cream cheese, softened • ¼ cup brown sugar • 1 tsp cinnamon • 2 eggs • ½ cup milk • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 2 tbsp butter • ¼ cup brown sugar for coating • 1 tsp cinnamon for coating • Maple syrup for serving • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. In small bowl, mix cream cheese, ¼ cup brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon
  2. Spread mixture on 4 bread slices
  3. Top with remaining bread slices to make sandwiches
  4. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally
  5. Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in shallow dish
  6. Dip each triangle in egg mixture
  7. Heat butter in large skillet over medium heat
  8. Cook roll-ups 2-3 minutes per side until golden
  9. Mix ¼ cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon
  10. Roll warm roll-ups in cinnamon sugar mixture
  11. Dust with powdered sugar
  12. Serve with maple syrup
