Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:
🧁 2 cups all-purpose flour (240g)
🧁 2 cups granulated sugar (400g)
🧁 Β½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g)
🧁 1 teaspoon baking soda
🧁 Β½ teaspoon salt
🧁 1 cup unsalted butter (226g), cubed
🧁 1 cup Coca-Cola (240ml)
🧁 Β½ cup buttermilk (120ml)
🧁 Β½ cup vegetable oil (120ml)
🧁 2 large eggs
🧁 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Frosting:
🧁 Β½ cup unsalted butter (113g), cubed
🧁 ΒΌ cup Coca-Cola (60ml)
🧁 ΒΌ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (25g)
🧁 3 cups powdered sugar (360g)
🧁 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
🧁 Pinch of salt


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour a 9Γ—13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a medium saucepan, combine the butter and Coca-Cola. Heat over medium until melted.
4. Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
5. Add buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
7. For the frosting, melt butter, Coca-Cola, and cocoa in a saucepan.
8. Whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
9. Pour the frosting over the hot cake and let it set before serving.
