Ingredients

• 1 cup butter • 2 cups granulated sugar • 4 eggs • 1 cup all-purpose flour • ¾ cup cocoa powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract

FOR CREAM CHEESE SWIRL: • 8 oz cream cheese, softened • ¼ cup granulated sugar • 1 egg • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
  3. Melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat
  4. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla
  5. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt
  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients
  7. Beat cream cheese until smooth
  8. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla to cream cheese
  9. Pour brownie batter into pan
  10. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture on top
  11. Use knife to swirl patterns into batter
  12. Bake 30-35 minutes until set
  13. Cool completely before cutting
  14. Store covered at room temperature
