Crispy Air Fryer Apple Fries – A Sweet & Healthy Snack

Ingredients

• 2 large apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith), cored and sliced into sticks
• 1 tbsp lemon juice (to prevent browning)
• 1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
• 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• Optional: ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes (for extra crunch)

For the dip (optional):
• ¼ cup Greek yogurt or whipped cream cheese
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• ½ tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Toss apple slices with lemon juice to keep them from browning.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Add apple sticks and toss gently to coat.
  3. Optional: Roll in panko or crushed cereal for extra crispiness.
  4. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd).
  5. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and golden.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dip!
