Ingredients
• 8 cups popped popcorn (air-popped or stovetop)
• 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
• 1/3 cup mini marshmallows
• 1/4 cup Halloween M&Ms, candy corn, or chocolate chips
• 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds (pepitas – for a “guts” touch)
• 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (optional, for fall flavor)
• 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
• Optional: orange and black food-safe spray or gel for coloring
Instructions
- Place popped popcorn in a large bowl. Remove any unpopped kernels.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Stir in marshmallows and vanilla until smooth.
- Optional: Add a drop of orange or black food coloring for a spooky hue.
- Pour warm marshmallow mixture over popcorn. Gently toss to coat.
- Immediately add M&Ms, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin spice (if using). Mix well.
- Spread mixture onto a parchment-lined tray or large plate.
- Let cool 10–15 minutes until slightly set (don’t chill—keeps it crunchy!).
- Break into clusters and serve in themed bowls or treat bags!
