Grinch Oreo Balls – A Fun, Festive, No-Bake Christmas Treat

  • Author: WAFA LI

Ingredients

• 24 Oreo cookies (regular or Double Stuf), filling included
• 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
• 12 oz green candy melts or white chocolate + green gel food coloring
• 12–24 mini red heart sprinkles (or red M&M Minis, halved)
• Optional: ½ tsp peppermint extract (for that “Grinch-y” zing!)

Instructions

  1. Pulse Oreos in a food processor until finely crushed (should resemble wet sand).
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add Oreo crumbs (and peppermint extract, if using); mix until a thick, pliable dough forms.
  3. Roll into 1″ balls (about 24). Place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze 20 mins to firm.
  4. Melt green candy melts (or white chocolate + gel coloring) per package instructions—stir in extra coloring for vibrant hue.
  5. Dip each ball using a fork or toothpick: submerge, tap off excess, return to tray. Immediately press 1–2 red heart sprinkles on top.
  6. Let set at room temp 15 mins (or chill 5 mins). Store chilled in an airtight container.
