Halloween Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies: Spooky, Fudgy, and Festive

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter • 2 cups granulated sugar • 4 eggs • 1 cup all-purpose flour • ¾ cup cocoa powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract

FOR CREAM CHEESE SWIRL: • 8 oz cream cheese, softened • ¼ cup granulated sugar • 1 egg • 1 tsp vanilla extract • Orange and black food coloring


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
  3. Melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat
  4. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla
  5. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt
  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients
  7. Beat cream cheese until smooth
  8. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla to cream cheese
  9. Divide cream cheese mixture into thirds
  10. Color one third orange, one third black, leave one plain
  11. Pour brownie batter into pan
  12. Drop spoonfuls of colored cream cheese on top
  13. Use knife to swirl colors into batter
  14. Bake 30-35 minutes until set
  15. Cool completely before cutting
