Ingredients
• 1 cup butter • 2 cups granulated sugar • 4 eggs • 1 cup all-purpose flour • ¾ cup cocoa powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract
FOR CREAM CHEESE SWIRL: • 8 oz cream cheese, softened • ¼ cup granulated sugar • 1 egg • 1 tsp vanilla extract • Orange and black food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
- Melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt
- Combine wet and dry ingredients
- Beat cream cheese until smooth
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla to cream cheese
- Divide cream cheese mixture into thirds
- Color one third orange, one third black, leave one plain
- Pour brownie batter into pan
- Drop spoonfuls of colored cream cheese on top
- Use knife to swirl colors into batter
- Bake 30-35 minutes until set
- Cool completely before cutting
