Ingredients
• ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½–1 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles (worms, bats, ghosts, neon colors)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).
- Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in Halloween sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Cover and chill dough 30 minutes (helps prevent spreading).
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place on trays. Flatten slightly with your palm or the bottom of a glass.
- Bake 9–11 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the tray 5 minutes—they’ll firm up as they cool. Then transfer to a wire rack.
✨ No decorating needed! The sprinkles bake right in for spooky color and crunch.
