Halloween Trifle: A Spooktacular Layered Dessert for Your Haunted Holiday

Ingredients

• 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for dairy-free)
• 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 ½ cups fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
• 1 cup pumpkin puree (spiced with ½ tsp cinnamon & pinch of nutmeg)
• 1 cup granola (gluten-free if needed)
• Optional: sugar-free gummy worms or Halloween sprinkles for fun


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, gently warm pumpkin puree with cinnamon and nutmeg (serve warm or chilled).
  3. Begin layering in clear glasses or a large trifle bowl:
    → First layer: granola (for crunch!)
    → Second: pumpkin spice mixture
    → Third: yogurt mixture
    → Fourth: fresh berries
  4. Repeat layers until cups or bowl are full.
  5. Top with extra berries and a sprinkle of granola. Add gummy worms for a spooky surprise!
  6. Chill 30 minutes or serve immediately for a quick treat.
