Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats (use gluten-free if needed)
1 cup almond flour
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
½ cup honey or maple syrup
¼ cup melted coconut oil or butter
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup water or milk (as needed to thin)
½ cup dark chocolate chips (70%+ cocoa)
Optional: sliced almonds or extra chocolate drizzle on top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix oats, almond flour, cinnamon, and salt.
Add honey, melted oil, vanilla, and water/milk as needed to bind the mixture into clusters.
Spread half of the mixture into the pan as the base. Press down lightly.
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the base.
Top with remaining oat mixture, pressing gently to compact.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and fragrant.
Let cool completely before slicing into bars or squares.
Optional: Drizzle with melted dark chocolate or add sliced almonds before baking.
