Ingredients
• ½ cup honey • ¼ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot) • ¼ cup bourbon • 2 tbsp butter • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp smoked paprika • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar • Salt to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in small saucepan over medium-low heat
- Add honey and whisk until smooth
- Add hot sauce and bourbon, stir to combine
- Add soy sauce, garlic powder, and paprika
- Simmer 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently
- Add cayenne pepper and apple cider vinegar
- Continue simmering 3-5 minutes until thickened
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly
- Toss with hot wings or use as dipping sauce
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator
