Ingredients

• ½ cup honey • ¼ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot) • ¼ cup bourbon • 2 tbsp butter • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp smoked paprika • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in small saucepan over medium-low heat
  2. Add honey and whisk until smooth
  3. Add hot sauce and bourbon, stir to combine
  4. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, and paprika
  5. Simmer 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently
  6. Add cayenne pepper and apple cider vinegar
  7. Continue simmering 3-5 minutes until thickened
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt
  9. Remove from heat and let cool slightly
  10. Toss with hot wings or use as dipping sauce
  11. Store in airtight container in refrigerator
