Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour • 1½ cups granulated sugar • ½ cup butter, softened • 4 eggs • 1 cup milk • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice • 2 tbsp lemon zest • 2 tsp baking powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract

FOR LEMON GLAZE: • 1 cup powdered sugar • 2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice • 1 tsp lemon zest


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease and flour 10-inch Bundt pan
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well
  5. Mix in lemon juice, zest, and vanilla
  6. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt
  7. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk
  8. Pour into prepared pan
  9. Bake 45-50 minutes until toothpick comes clean
  10. Cool 15 minutes in pan
  11. Invert onto wire rack to cool completely
  12. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze
  13. Add lemon zest and whisk until smooth
  14. Pour glaze over cooled cake
  15. Let glaze set before serving
