INGREDIENTS: 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1 cup (240 ml) whole milk or 2%
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
4 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced or shredded
Powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, lightly beat the egg, then add milk and oil. Mix into dry ingredients until smooth. Fold in apples. Pour ½ cup of batter onto a greased hot pan, spreading to form a 5-inch circle. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
