Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Line 12 muffin tin cups with paper liners
  3. Cream butter and both sugars until fluffy
  4. Add eggs, pumpkin, and vanilla, mix well
  5. Combine flour, spices, baking soda, and salt
  6. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients
  7. Fold in chocolate chips
  8. Fill cupcake liners ⅔ full
  9. Bake 18-22 minutes until toothpick comes clean
  10. Cool completely before frosting
  11. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth
  12. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla
  13. Frost cooled cupcakes
  14. Store covered in refrigerator
