Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread: A Moist, Spiced Fall Favorite for Every Baker

Ingredients

• 1 cup pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
• 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
• 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups almond flour
• 1/2 cup oat flour (gluten-free if needed)
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp ginger

For the swirl:
• 2 tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp melted coconut oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small loaf pan (8×4 inches) or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin, maple syrup, applesauce, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Stir until well combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix coconut sugar, cinnamon, and coconut oil to form a paste.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of cinnamon swirl over the batter and gently swirl with a knife.
  7. Top with remaining batter and smooth the top.
  8. Bake 35–40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely before slicing.
