Ingredients
• 1 cup butter • 2 cups granulated sugar • 4 eggs • 1 cup all-purpose flour • ¾ cup cocoa powder • ½ tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract
FOR PUMPKIN FILLING: • 1 cup pumpkin puree • ¼ cup brown sugar • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice • ½ tsp cinnamon • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
- Melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt
- Combine wet and dry ingredients for brownies
- Beat pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and spices
- Add cream cheese to pumpkin mixture
- Pour brownie batter into pan
- Drop spoonfuls of pumpkin mixture on top
- Use knife to swirl patterns into batter
- Bake 30-35 minutes until set
- Cool completely before cutting
- Store covered at room temperature
