FOR CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: • 8 oz cream cheese, softened • ½ cup butter, softened • 4 cups powdered sugar • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease and flour 9×13 inch baking pan
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy
  4. Add eggs, pumpkin, oil, and vanilla
  5. Mix in pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt
  6. Gradually add flour until just combined
  7. Pour into prepared pan
  8. Bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes clean
  9. Cool completely before frosting
  10. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth
  11. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla
  12. Spread frosting over cooled cake
  13. Store covered in refrigerator
