Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Treats: A Cozy, Fall-Inspired Twist on a Classic

Ingredients

• 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal • 4 tbsp butter • 1 package (10oz) marshmallows • ½ cup pumpkin puree • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice • ½ tsp cinnamon • ¼ tsp nutmeg • ¼ cup brown sugar • Orange food coloring (optional)


Instructions

  1. Grease 9×13 inch baking pan
  2. In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat
  3. Add marshmallows and stir until melted
  4. Remove from heat and stir in pumpkin puree
  5. Add pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar
  6. Add food coloring if using
  7. Stir in Rice Krispies cereal
  8. Press mixture into prepared pan
  9. Let cool completely
  10. Cut into squares
  11. Store in airtight container
