Ingredients
• 1 cup all-purpose flour • ¾ cup cocoa powder • ½ cup butter, melted • 1 cup brown sugar • 2 eggs • 1 tsp vanilla extract • ½ tsp baking powder • ¼ tsp salt • 1 cup chocolate chips • 1 tsp sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper
- Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
- In separate bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well
- Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets
- Sprinkle each cookie with sea salt
- Bake 10-12 minutes until set around edges
- Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes
- Transfer to wire racks to cool completely
