Ingredients
• 1 cup raw, local honey (or sugar-free maple-flavored syrup for keto/blood-sugar support)
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1-inch fresh ginger, sliced
• Zest & juice of ½ lemon or orange
• Optional: 2–3 cardamom pods, 1 star anise, or fresh rosemary sprig
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small slow cooker (or a heatproof jar placed inside one).
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours—do not exceed 3 hours (preserves enzymes in raw honey). Stir once halfway.
- Strain into a clean glass jar while warm. Discard solids.
- Cool completely, then seal. Store at room temp up to 1 month (or refrigerate long-term).
