  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup (1 stick / 115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped salted roasted pistachios
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate

Optional glaze (like Starbucks):

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5″ loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make batter: In a large bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in dry ingredients just until combined.
  4. Fold in mix-ins: Gently stir in pistachios and chocolate chips.
  5. Bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean (a few crumbs are fine).
  6. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Glaze (optional): Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled loaf.
