A sweet and fruity twist on the classic! Layers of creamy mascarpone, juicy strawberries, and coffee-soaked ladyfingers come together in this easy, no-bake dessert that’s light, fresh, and totally delicious!
Ingredients
24 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp strawberry liqueur or kirsch (optional)
20–24 ladyfingers
1 1/2 cups strong cold coffee or espresso, cooled
1 lb fresh strawberries, sliced (plus extra for topping)
1–2 tbsp honey or sugar (to sweeten strawberries)
Cocoa powder, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold in mascarpone and strawberry liqueur (if using) until smooth and well combined.
In a shallow dish, quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cold coffee (don’t soak!) and layer in the bottom of a serving dish or trifle bowl.
Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
Top with a layer of sliced strawberries lightly tossed with honey or sugar.
Repeat layers, finishing with a top layer of mascarpone and fresh strawberry slices.
Dust lightly with cocoa powder if desired.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to chill and set.
