Ingredients
• 1 box yellow cake mix • 1 can (20oz) crushed pineapple, drained • 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk • 4 eggs • ½ cup vegetable oil • 1 tsp vanilla extract
FOR TOPPING: • 8 oz cream cheese, softened • ¼ cup butter, softened • 2 cups whipped topping (cool whip) • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease and flour 9×13 inch baking pan
- In large bowl, mix cake mix, drained pineapple, eggs, oil, and vanilla
- Pour into prepared pan
- Bake 35-40 minutes until toothpick comes clean
- Poke holes all over hot cake with fork
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake
- Let cool completely
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth
- Fold in whipped topping gently
- Spread over cooled cake
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans
- Refrigerate 2 hours before serving
