Ingredients
• 1 lb (450g) ground beef
• 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled (plus extra for topping)
• ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• Salt & black pepper to taste
• 1 egg
• ½ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed buttery crackers)
• Optional: 1 tbsp ketchup or mustard (for filling)
• Cooking spray or oil (for baking)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a bowl, mix ground beef, crumbled bacon, ¼ cup cheddar, garlic, 2 tbsp Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix gently—don’t overwork.
 - Shape into 12 small balls (about 2 inches wide). Flatten slightly to form patties.
 - Place a small cube of cheese (and a dab of ketchup/mustard if using) in the center of half the patties. Top with remaining patties and seal edges tightly to form balls.
 - Roll each ball in remaining Parmesan for a golden crust.
 - Place on the baking sheet and lightly spray with oil.
 - Bake 20–25 minutes, until browned and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
 - Let rest 5 minutes. Serve hot with toothpicks—great with ranch or BBQ dipping sauce!
