Ingredients

🌭 1 lb Jimmy Dean sausage
📦 1 (6oz) box StoveTop stuffing (chicken or turkey)
🧀 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
💧 1 cup water


Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, bring one cup of water to a boil and then add the contents of the stuffing. Mix well, remove from heat, and set aside to cool. The idea here is to have slightly moistened stuffing.
2. In a large bowl, mix the uncooked sausage with the stuffing and cheddar cheese until thoroughly combined.
3. Roll the mixture into small 1-inch bite-size balls. Pack them tightly so that they hold together when baked.
4. Place them in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight until you’re ready to bake and serve.
5. Place the chilled sausage balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a 350° F oven for approximately 25 minutes or until cooked through.
6. Allow them to cool for a few minutes and serve! They keep well on the counter for hours. You could also serve with toothpicks to make them easier to grab and eat for your guests.
