- 1½ lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (1 oz) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom for variation)
- ½ cup (120ml) chicken broth or water
- Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, or cooked bacon for topping
Instructions
- Prep: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a 4–6 quart slow cooker.
- Mix sauce: In a bowl, whisk ranch seasoning, condensed soup, and chicken broth until smooth. Pour evenly over chicken.
- Cook:
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
Until chicken shreds easily with a fork.
- Shred & serve: Use two forks to shred chicken directly in the pot. Stir to coat in sauce.
- Optional finish: Top with cheese, cover for 5–10 min to melt, then garnish with green onions or bacon.
