Avocado, Mozzarella & Tomato Grilled Cheese: A Gourmet Twist on a Classic Comfort Food

Description

Creamy avocado, juicy tomato, and melty mozzarella in golden, toasty bread!


Ingredients

Scale

4 slices of bread (sourdough or your favorite)

1 ripe avocado, sliced or mashed

1 large tomato, sliced

4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced

2 tbsp butter, softened

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: fresh basil leaves or a drizzle of balsamic glaze


Instructions

Butter one side of each bread slice.

On the unbuttered side, layer mozzarella, tomato, and avocado. Add basil and seasoning if desired.

Top with another slice of bread, buttered side out.

Grill in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side, or until bread is golden and cheese is melted.

Slice and enjoy warm!
