Bacon Cheese Fries: The Ultimate Comfort Food Upgrade That’s Crispy, Cheesy, and Irresistibly Addictive

  • Author: WAFA LI

Ingredients

• 4 cups frozen french fries (or sweet potato fries)
• ½ lb (225g) bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or nacho blend)
• ¼ cup green onions, sliced
• ½ cup ranch dressing (or sour cream + chives)
• Optional: jalapeño slices, black olives, or hot sauce for heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake according to package directions (usually 20–25 minutes), until golden and crispy.
  3. While fries bake, cook bacon in a skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  4. Once fries are done, sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the hot fries. Return to oven for 1–2 minutes, just until cheese melts.
  5. Top with crumbled bacon, green onions, and any optional add-ins.
  6. Drizzle generously with ranch dressing before serving.

Serve immediately while hot and gooey—perfect as a game day snack, side dish, or hearty appetizer!

💡 Make it better: Use seasoned waffle fries or tater tots for extra crunch!
