Ingredients
• 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• Salt & black pepper to taste
• 4 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
• ½ cup marinara sauce (warmed)
• ½ cup whole-milk ricotta
• ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
• 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
• 1 tbsp fresh basil or parsley, chopped
• Optional: 1 fried egg per burger, red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven broiler (high) with rack 6″ from heat. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Divide beef into 4 portions. Gently shape into ¾”-thick patties (don’t overwork). Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high. Sear patties 4–5 mins per side to medium (they’ll finish under broiler). Transfer to baking sheet.
- Top each patty with:
→ 2 tbsp marinara
→ 2 tbsp ricotta (dolloped)
→ 3 tbsp mozzarella
→ 1 tbsp bacon
→ Parmesan - Broil 2–3 mins—until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, red pepper flakes, or a fried egg if desired. Serve open-faced with a knife and fork—or stack on a toasted brioche bun for handheld decadence.
