Description
Hearty pasta bake with meaty tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese
Ingredients
• 1 lb mostaccioli pasta
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 24 oz marinara sauce
• 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
• ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
• 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
• 1 tbsp fresh oregano
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F
Cook pasta according to package directions
Brown ground beef in olive oil
Sauté onion and garlic until soft
Add marinara sauce and herbs
Simmer sauce 15 minutes
Mix cooked pasta with sauce
Transfer to baking dish
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan
Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly
Garnish with fresh parsley
