Ingredients

• 1 large flour tortilla (10–12 inch) or burrito wrap
• 1 cup cooked ground beef (seasoned with taco seasoning)
• ½ cup frozen tater tots, tater bites, or crinkle-cut fries (baked or air-fried until crispy)
• ½ cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
• ¼ cup refried beans or black beans (warmed)
• 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
• 2 tbsp salsa or green chile sauce
• Optional toppings:
• Diced tomatoes
• Sliced jalapeños
• Shredded lettuce
• Guacamole or sliced avocado


Instructions

  1. Warm the tortilla in a dry skillet or microwave for 20 seconds to make it pliable.
  2. Layer ingredients down the center of the tortilla in this order:
    → Refried beans (creates a moisture barrier)
    → Seasoned ground beef
    → Crispy fries or tater tots
    → Cheese (will melt slightly from warmth)
    → Sour cream, salsa, and any extra toppings
  3. Fold in the sides, then roll tightly from the bottom to form a burrito.
  4. Optional: Grill seam-side down in a lightly oiled skillet for 2–3 minutes to crisp the tortilla and seal the burrito.
  5. Serve immediately, sliced in half if desired.
