Ingredients
• 1 lb (450g) ground beef
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• ½ cup ketchup
• 2 tbsp yellow mustard
• 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
• 1 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 tsp white vinegar
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 4 hamburger buns (or lettuce wraps for low-carb)
• Toppings: shredded lettuce, sliced dill pickles, shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add diced onion and cook 3–4 minutes until soft.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and flavorful.
- Toast buns lightly if desired.
- Spoon mixture onto bun bottoms. Top with shredded lettuce, pickles, and a sprinkle of cheddar.
- Serve immediately while warm and juicy!
