Ingredients
• 2 lbs chicken breast, sliced • 1 lb fettuccine pasta • 1 cup heavy cream • ½ cup butter • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1 tbsp paprika • 1 tsp cayenne pepper • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp onion powder • 1 tsp dried thyme • ½ tsp black pepper • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped • Salt to taste
Instructions
- Mix paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and black pepper
- Coat chicken slices with spice mixture
- Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
- Cook chicken 5-6 minutes per side until blackened and cooked
- Remove chicken and set aside
- Cook pasta according to package directions
- In same skillet, melt butter
- Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat
- Slice blackened chicken and place over pasta
- Garnish with fresh parsley
- Serve immediately
