Crispy, cheesy, smoky chicken tenders baked to golden perfection!
Ingredients
1½ lbs chicken tenders
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs
2 eggs
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Olive oil spray or melted butter (for crisping)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment and lightly grease.
In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs. In another bowl, mix crushed crackers, cheddar, bacon, garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper.
Dip each chicken tender in egg, then press into the cheesy bacon coating.
Place coated tenders on the baking sheet and lightly spray or brush with oil.
Bake 20–25 minutes or until golden, crispy, and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
Serve hot with ranch, honey mustard, or your favorite dip!
