Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (use panko for extra crunch)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
In a shallow bowl, mix together cheddar, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Brush chicken breasts lightly with melted butter or oil.
Press each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly.
Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 75°C) and golden brown.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
