Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

• 1 lb (450g) ground chicken (or turkey)
• ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
• 2 tbsp ranch seasoning (or 1 tsp each dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley + ½ tsp salt)
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• ¼ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
• 1 egg
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
• 4 soft burger buns (or lettuce wraps)
• Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, extra ranch sauce


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, cheddar, ranch seasoning, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently (don’t overwork).
  2. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than your buns.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  4. Toast buns lightly if desired.
  5. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings—or go low-carb with lettuce wraps!

Great with sweet potato fries or a crisp green salad!

💡 Make ahead: Uncooked patties freeze beautifully—place between parchment and cook from frozen (+2–3 mins per side).
