Ingredients
Ingredients : 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or chopped)
2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets
1/2 onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: pinch of paprika or chili flakes
Instructions
Melt butter in a pot, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
Stir in flour and cook 1 min to make a roux.
Gradually whisk in milk and broth until smooth.
Bring to a simmer, add broccoli and cook 8–10 mins.
Stir in chicken and cook 5 more mins.
Add cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
Season to taste, serve hot with crusty bread!
