Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones

Ingredients

• 4 large flour tortillas or premade calzone/pizza dough rounds
• 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
• ½ cup alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
• ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
• ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• Salt & black pepper to taste
• 1 egg, beaten (for sealing, optional)
• Cooking spray or olive oil (for crisping)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken, alfredo sauce, ½ cup mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic (if using), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Lay out tortillas or dough rounds. Divide filling among them, placing on one half.
  3. Fold over to form a half-moon. Crimp edges with a fork or pinch tightly to seal. Brush with beaten egg (if using) for golden finish.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C). Lightly spray calzones with oil.
  5. Place in air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd). Air fry 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Let cool 2 minutes before serving—filling will be hot!

Serve with:
• Extra alfredo or marinara for dipping
• A side salad for balance

💡 Make ahead: Assemble unbaked calzones and freeze. Air fry from frozen (+2–3 mins).
