Chicken Bacon Ranch Stuffed Bread

Ingredients

• 1 loaf French or Italian bread (or sourdough)
• 2 tbsp butter, softened
• 1 clove garlic, minced (optional, for garlicky kick)
• 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
• 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 1 packet ranch seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)
• 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (divided)
• 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
• Optional: ¼ cup mayonnaise or cream cheese (for creaminess)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread lengthwise down the center, then make diagonal cuts every 1 inch across both sides (don’t cut through the bottom crust).
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter and garlic (if using). Spread over all cut surfaces of the bread.
  4. In another bowl, combine chicken, bacon, ranch seasoning, 1 cup cheese, green onions, and mayo/cream cheese (if using). Mix well.
  5. Stuff the mixture into the bread’s slits, pushing in gently to fill.
  6. Sprinkle remaining ½ cup cheese on top.
  7. Wrap the loaf in foil and bake 15 minutes.
  8. Unwrap and bake 10–15 more minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let cool 2 minutes, then pull apart and serve warm!

Great for game day, potlucks, or as a fun dinner centerpiece!
