Country Ranch Green Beans ‘n Potatoes with Bacon: A Hearty, Flavor-Packed Side Dish

Ingredients

• 1 lb green beans, trimmed • 1 lb small potatoes, halved • 6 slices bacon, chopped • 2 tbsp butter • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning • 1 tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp onion powder • Salt and pepper to taste • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in large skillet until crispy
  2. Remove bacon, drain on paper towels
  3. Reserve 2 tbsp bacon drippings in skillet
  4. Add butter to drippings
  5. Add green beans and potatoes
  6. Sprinkle with ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste
  8. Cook 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally
  9. Add 2-3 tbsp water, cover and steam 10 minutes
  10. Stir in cooked bacon
  11. Cook uncovered 5 minutes until tender
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley
